What is the distribution functionality in JediDesk?
The distribution functionality in JediDesk is a special tool that allows you to automatically distribute conversations between managers. Each manager can set a specific limit on the number of requests received. This helps ensure a more balanced customer experience.
Why do you need distribution functionality?
The conversation distribution functionality helps manage a large volume of customer requests so that they are evenly distributed among managers. This eliminates the overload of individual employees and ensures a more even distribution of work.

What problems does the distribution functionality solve?
The distribution functionality solves several key problems:
- Preventing individual managers from being overloaded.
- Guarantee that all requests from clients will be processed on time.
- More efficient use of team resources due to even load distribution.
How to set up distribution functionality between managers?
In the Settings → Managers tab, click on the ⚙️ button next to the + Add manager button , activate the dialog sharing functionality and specify the limit:

What is a limit?
This is the number of chats after which the manager receives the Invisible status and cannot receive new requests, unless he changes the status to Online .
To receive requests, each manager must click the Start Shift button:

The Online status is activated:

When the limit on receiving requests expires, the manager will automatically switch to Invisible mode.
To receive more requests, you need to activate Online status.
If the manager has gone to lunch or is not at his desk, you must select the appropriate status.
At the end of the working day, you need to click the End shift button:
