A solution for automotive services

JediDesk for automotive services

Your workshop is at work. Your customer stays connected.

Enquiry · vehicle details · request for the adviser

The customer wants their car serviced, needs pricing information or wants to know when they can come in. JediDesk helps answer using your workshop's materials and collect the vehicle model, enquiry description and time preferences. The service adviser receives the conversation with context, agrees the next step and confirms the visit while technicians focus on their work.

Automotive service communication

The technician is working on a car. The customer needs an answer.

At a workshop, the conversation often starts before inspection: do you perform this work, which details are needed, and when can I get in touch? Gathering context quickly and passing it to the right person matters.

Without vehicle details, context is limited

A service name alone does not explain the whole enquiry. The make, model, year and preferences help the adviser prepare the next conversation.

Times are agreed with your team

Customer preferences need to be matched to the workshop's schedule and required work. A submitted enquiry does not mean a confirmed visit.

Pricing depends on details

A price list may show a basic service, while the final scope is determined after clarification or inspection. Explain these stages in advance.

Questions continue after the car is received

The customer wants to know whom to contact about repairs, approval or collection. The conversation needs to retain its history and responsible person.

Before automation

Where customer conversations slow down

A brief “I'd like an appointment” leaves many questions

Without the vehicle model, required service and time preferences, the adviser starts gathering the enquiry from scratch.

The same questions distract your team

The address, opening hours, services and enquiry process recur in chat while staff are busy with other tasks.

The basic price is taken as final

If service inclusions and assessment terms are not explained, customer expectations may differ from the actual scope of work.

The enquiry does not reach the responsible person

Visit questions and enquiries about a car already received need different context. Without a handover, people have to repeat their story.

Automation use cases

From the first question to an agreed next step

AI explains your services and helps organise the enquiry. Inspection, technical assessments, estimates and time confirmation remain with your service team.

01

Explain workshop services

“Do you offer scheduled servicing, and what does it include?”

The assistant finds the answer in your service list: work inclusions, enquiry terms and visit preparation. If the request is not covered in the materials, it passes it to the adviser.

Answers from the knowledge base

The customer understands which requests they can bring to your workshop.

02

Collect vehicle details

The customer describes their need without specifying their car.

AI clarifies the make, model, year and required service according to your scenario. It preserves the customer's own description of the problem for the technician without diagnosing a fault remotely.

Chat and enquiry context

The adviser receives initial details for a meaningful conversation.

03

Prepare a visit enquiry

“Can I come in on Friday afternoon?”

The assistant collects day and time preferences and the contact method needed. It passes the enquiry to your team. The adviser checks whether the car can be received and separately confirms the arrangement.

Enquiry and handover scenario

Customer preferences are recorded, and the responsible person knows what needs agreement.

04

Explain pricing without unsupported promises

Someone asks for a price before the vehicle is inspected.

AI uses the current price list and explains what the stated service includes. It passes final estimates, additional work and parts selection to a specialist according to your workshop's rules.

Answers based on your rules

The customer distinguishes between price-list terms and an assessment of their own vehicle.

05

Route a question about a car already received

“Who can tell me what's happening with my car?”

The assistant clarifies the agreed enquiry identifier and passes the question to the responsible person. If status is available through a configured connection, the answer is provided after customer verification under the workshop's rules.

Data sources and integrations

The enquiry reaches the right team with its history preserved.

How the solution works

Enquiry → vehicle details → request → confirmation

Four steps without unnecessary rounds of questions. The assistant prepares the conversation, and the service adviser agrees what the workshop can actually provide.

    The customer writes

They ask about a service, maintenance or a convenient visit time.

  2. 02

    AI clarifies details

It collects the vehicle model, year and enquiry description according to workshop rules.

  3. 03

    It prepares the enquiry

It explains terms and passes vehicle details and customer preferences to the adviser.

  4. 04

    Your team confirms

It checks the schedule and required work, and agrees the visit and further actions.

Channels and integrations

Enquiries from different channels reach your team's workflow

Start with answers based on workshop materials and conversation handovers to the adviser. Access to schedules, orders or business system data is agreed separately.

Automotive service knowledge base

Work list, price list, address, schedule, visit preparation and enquiry handover rules. Keeping these materials current determines answer quality.

How to connect

CRM or workshop management system

Recording an enquiry, retrieving status or working with the schedule requires a separately defined connection. Available actions are checked for your system before launch.

Launching the solution

Start with your workshop's most common enquiries

The service adviser helps define the required questions and responsible people. The launch timeline depends on material and connection readiness.

  1. 1

    Gather your materials

Prepare the work list, price list, contacts, opening hours and enquiry rules. Mark what needs clarification by a technician.

  2. 2

    Define enquiry fields

Choose vehicle details, the need description, time preferences and contact method. Collect only the information needed for this scenario.

  3. 3

    Configure handovers

Assign responsibility for new visits, ongoing enquiries and unusual questions. Define who confirms arrangements.

  4. 4

    Test through conversations

Walk through an enquiry missing the vehicle model, an unknown service, and questions about price and repair readiness. Check that AI involves your team at the right time.

Frequently asked questions

About enquiries, pricing, vehicle details and working with the workshop team.

Does AI confirm workshop appointments?

This page describes collecting an enquiry and passing it to a service adviser. The assistant clarifies the vehicle, required service and time preferences. Your team checks the schedule and confirms the visit. Automatic booking is possible only as a separately agreed scenario with an appropriate availability source and connection. Until confirmation, the customer's message remains an enquiry rather than a completed appointment.

Which vehicle details should be collected in chat?

The set depends on your process. For an initial enquiry, you can ask for the make, model, year and required service, or a situation description in the customer's own words. Additional information is requested only when justified. Agree the questions with the adviser before launch: they should help the conversation rather than turn it into an unnecessary form. Conversation data goes to your team as context for further clarification.

Can the bot give an exact repair price?

The assistant can explain the current price list and service inclusions if you have prepared these materials. The final estimate for a particular car depends on the defined work, parts and your workshop's rules, so a specialist agrees it. If the source states a starting price, it should be presented as such in the conversation. AI must not invent a price or promise that no additional agreement will be needed after inspection.

Does AI diagnose a fault from the customer's description?

In the proposed scenario, the assistant gathers the description and passes it to the technician. It does not replace vehicle inspection or present an assumption as a technical assessment. Knowledge base materials can explain the enquiry process, but a qualified specialist decides on diagnostics, the work list and the vehicle's fitness for use. Test answer boundaries and the handover route with trial conversations before launch.

How does AI find the repair status?

An answer needs current data and a defined retrieval method. If the business system is connected, status is provided after customer verification under the workshop's rules. This scenario and permitted data are agreed separately. Without a connection, the assistant clarifies the agreed identifier and passes the question to the adviser. It must not invent readiness, a reason for delay or a vehicle collection time missing from the source.

Is a CRM needed for the first launch?

For practical answers based on workshop materials and conversation handovers to the adviser, you can start with a connected channel and knowledge base. If you need CRM enquiry creation, schedule access or statuses, first define the system, data and permitted actions. Connection readiness depends on its capabilities. Using AI does not itself mean automatic access to your orders, stock or technicians' schedules.
